THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MORRIS-TURNBERRY
BY-LAW NO 15-2001

BEING A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH THE TIPPING FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE WARD M (MORRIS) AND WARD T (TURNBERRY) LANDFILL SITES.

Whereas Section 210 (89) of the Municipal Act, RSO 1190, authorizes a municipal council to pass by-laws for maintaining a system for collection, removal and disposal of garbage and other refuse.

Now therefore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry enacts as follows:

1/ A tipping fee schedule for users of the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry Landfill Sites be implemented, as
attached hereto;

2/ This by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final passing, thereof, and supercedes all by laws
passed under the Authority of this Act or its predecessors thereof.

3/ That the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary in that
behalf and to affix there to, the seal of the Corporation.

Read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 13th day of February, 2001.

TIPPING FEE SCHEDULE

The following tipping fees are payable prior to Disposal at the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry Landfill Sites, of the following items by cash or cheque.

1.    Bag Tags                                                          $1.00
       1 tag required for 26" x 36" bag
       2 tags for larger bags

2.    Construction Material                                          $25.00 per pickup load or small trailer
       Demolition Material                                             or farm wagon OR
       Institutional Material                                           $100.00 per tandem load

3.    Contaminated Soil                                              $100.00 per tandem load
                                                                               Subject to MOE approval
                                                        **AT MORRIS SITE ONLY**

4.    Tires
            a) Passenger car/truck, light truck and implement tires
                                            Without Rim                 $5.00 per tire
                                            With Rim                      $10.00 per tire
            b) Truck and tractor
                                            Without Rim                 $10.00 per tire
                                            With Rim                      $15.00 per tire

5.    After Hours Entry
        A charge will be levied for entry into the              $30.00 per entry
        landfill site after operation hours.

6.    Appliances
            a) A charge shall apply for disposal of any       $30.00 per unit
                appliance containing a refrigerant
            b) A charge shall apply for disposal of any       $5.00 per unit
                appliance certified as having the
                refrigerant removed
            c) A charge shall apply for disposal of any       $5.00 per unit
                other household fixture

7.    Commercial Carrier                                            $100.00 per load or part thereof
        *Special charge for Royal Homes at Turnberry     $40.00 for a 40 cu yard load of wood
        Site only                                                           or drywall

8. 45 gallon Barrel $2.00

9. Burnable NO CHARGE

10. Recyclables NO CHARGE

11. Household furniture 2 tags

12.   Fence and Stumps                                              $25.00 per pickup load or small
