Minutes of the Meeting 

Thursday  January  30th  , 2014     7:00pm

 

  • Call to order:     The meeting was called to order by Mayor Paul Gowing at 7:05 pm with all members in attendance for the call to order, except Neil Warwick who was late

Huron County Planners:  Carol Leeming

 

  • Declaration of Pecuniary Interest:

            No member declared a pecuniary interest, at this time.

  • Agenda:

Mayor Paul Gowing requests a closed session after the meeting regarding  employee/Legal Matters pursuant to Section 239  (b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual,including municipal or local board employees

Motion:  53-2014          Moved by Jamie Heffer                       Seconded by John Smuck

“That the agenda for the meeting of   January 30th, 2014 be adopted as circulated or amended.”

                     Disposition         Carried                        

            Neil Warwick arrived at 7:30pm

  • Zoning By-law Review :

Planner in attendance: Carol Leeming

1.    Review  2nd draft  Zoning By-law

Carol Leeming reviewed the 2nd draft Zoning By-law.

The next draft will be prepared for Council review the end of February, 2014. 

The airport information for zoning at the airport should be available soon. 

The plan is for a public open house and public meeting in April, 2014. 

Carol Leeming and Steve Fortier left the meeting at 8:50pm

  • Closed Session:                    

1.   Employee/  Legal Matters pursuant to Section 239  (b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees

1.1  Enter into Closed Session:                                                                                   8:50pm

“That the Council adjourn the Public Session of Council and enter into a Closed to the Public Session at 8:50 pm , being a Employee/  Legal Matter  pursuant to Section 239  (b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.”

Disposition      Carried

1.2   Adjourn the Closed Session:                                          9:10pm

“That the Council adjourn the Closed to the public session and re-enter regular open session of council.”

Disposition      Carried

1.3   Report to the Public from Closed Session.

The Council discussed matters concerning  a report on Committee, in conjunction – pursuant to Section 239 (b) Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees
